Service Description

Flea policy (important) If fleas are found at check-in or during the service, we must stop the groom and reschedule once your pet has been treated so we can do a proper de-shed bath and blow-out. For heavy-shedding coats, our high-velocity blow-out can spread fleas through the salon and dense undercoat can make them hard to spot until we’re deep into the process. Your retainer is kept covering the teams time, appointment time, any services or products used. A new retainer will need to be placed prior to schedule the next proper shed appionment. At Puppycut, we specialize in gentle, low-stress grooming for heavy shedders with dense undercoat—this is our zone. If your pup is blowing coat, impacted, or just leaving tumbleweeds everywhere, our specialized de-shed process (premium products + high-velocity hand drying) is designed to get that undercoat OUT. Pricing is based on weight, coat condition, and the time needed for a safe, thorough groom. Our Shed-Less Spa includes: • A full hour of brushing (broken into comfortable increments) before, during, and after the bath to lift impacted undercoat • Full facial cleanse with a gentle, tearless hypoallergenic face wash • Two-step bath: a deodorizing/clarifying wash to break down dirt and oils, followed by a moisturizing de-shed shampoo + conditioner customized to your pup • High-velocity hand drying + thorough brush-out to blow out loose undercoat and leave the coat light, clean, and breathable • Feet tidy + feathering clean-up (as needed) • Butt/sanitary tidy (as needed) (we do the best Bubble butts here!) • Ear cleaning + medicated ear flush if needed • Nails trimmed and buffed • External anal gland check/expression as needed • Finishing touches: tooth brushing, breath spray, light cologne spritz, and a bandana Pro tip: When done every 4–8 weeks, professional de-shed appointments can reduce shedding up to 80% and keep the coat healthier between visits. Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointments Attention to Monday appointments: because we’re closed Sundays, any Monday changes must be made by Saturday , so we have time to adjust the schedule and contact clients. A retainer fee ($25–$40, depending on the time reserved for your pup) is required to secure your appointment. If you reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, your retainer is kept and a new retainer is required to book a new time. No-shows forfeit the retainer and may require a new retainer to rebook or pay in advance. Please note: The “Pay Later” amount shown during online booking is an estimate based on our lowest starting prices. This keeps your deposit as fair and accessible as possible. Your actual remaining balance will be calculated at the time of service based on your pup’s weight, coat condition, matting, behavior, and time required. Late Pickup & Babysitting Policy Puppycut is a small grooming salon with limited staff availability. Grooming fees do not include babysitting or extended care. Our team is scheduled to conclude their workday once all appointments are complete. Babysitting Fees During Business Hours If a dog remains at the salon longer than expected after grooming is complete, a babysitting fee of $30 per hour will apply, if the salon is closing early for any reason. Clients will receive a text notification when their dog will be for pickup. If a longer stay was not pre-discussed and approved prior to the appointment, the $30 hourly fee may begin, 1 hour after pickup is complete. Puppycut is not able to provide free extended care or act as a daycare service and when treated as such need to adjust cost for time spent caring for pups. After-Hours Babysitting Fees Our salon closes at 5:00 PM. A babysitting fee of $1 per minute will be charged starting at 5:15 PM if a dog has not been picked up. If a dog remains at the salon at 6:00 PM with no prior arrangements made, the dog will be taken home for the night. In this case, a $100 overnight fee will be charged in addition to any accumulated babysitting fees. When Babysitting Fees Do Not Apply Babysitting fees will not be charged if the delay is caused by the salon running behind schedule. In these situations, the responsibility lies with Puppycut. We appreciate your cooperation in picking up your dog promptly. This policy helps us maintain a small, personalized operation while respecting our team’s time.
